The CEO of Bonton Farms is calling for a bill that would wipe out lingering court debts for people who have been incarcerated. For example, someone might miss paying a traffic ticket while incarcerated and then owe thousands of dollars upon release. The farm in a South Dallas neighborhood employs many formerly incarcerated people, so CEO Daron Babcock explains why this bill is personal for him.
