Trump Administration Showed ‘Disdain for the Rule of Law' in Naming Acting DHS Leaders, Says Former Official
In a recent report, the Government Accountability Office said the top leaders of the Department of Homeland Security were not appointed through a legitimate process. Peter Vincent, a former DHS official, told LX News that the Trump Administration's failure to go through the traditional process to appoint those leaders shows a “disdain for the rule of law.”
