Looking Back at the 1996 Atlanta Olympics on Its 25th Anniversary

The 1996 Atlanta Olympics, a.k.a. the “Centennial Games,” was just the fourth Summer Olympics held in the U.S. at that time and a huge point of pride for the small city of Atlanta. NBCLX storytellers Chase Cain and Ngozi Ekeledo both lived in the Atlanta area in 1996 and attended the events as children. They share their first Olympic memories and what the international spotlight meant to the city.
