A D.C. Bookstore That Counts Former President Obama as a Fan Is Building Community Around Black Books
Ramunda and Derrick Young first created Mahogany Books with the goal of making books by Black authors available online to everyone — no matter where you live. Now they have a brick and mortar store in Washington, D.C. — as well as a fan in former President Barack Obama.
