Attorney: Chauvin Could Benefit From Expressing Remorse

The judge sentencing Derek Chauvin could look favorably on the case if Chauvin expresses remorse for the killing of George Floyd. But if he apologizes or expresses emotion, Chauvin likely won't be too specific - anything he says at sentencing could be used against him in an appeal or in the federal civil rights case against him, says former New Jersey prosecutor Shavar Jeffries.
