Paris Climate Agreement: Election Day Decides if the U.S. Honors Its Pledge to the World

Election Day will determine the fate of the Paris Climate Accord, the first worldwide commitment to fighting climate change. The agreement, which was signed in 2015 under the Obama Administration, was put in jeopardy in 2017, when President Trump said the U.S. would drop out at the earliest opportunity – which happens to be Nov. 4, the day after the presidential election.
