As challenging as the past year has been for college basketball players and fans, it’s been equally challenging for broadcasters, who have navigated empty stadiums, remote video feeds and, on occasion, iffy internet connections to call games this season. And while most of us have dealt with the annoying Zoom glitch here and there during the pandemic, a split second dropped video during a live sporting event is a lot more consequential.
